I was born in Melbourne and majored in Politics at La Trobe University. I completed a CELTA in Bangkok in 2007. I have taught English in Cambodia, Taiwan, Korea, China, and of course, here in Australia.
What do you like about teaching ?
Every day is different and it can be really good fun sometimes. Not to forget my own sense of achievement when students achieve their goals.
AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOURSELF
I come from a family of 16. My mother had 14 children, but two of them were adopted out when they were newborns. My remaining siblings and I weren’t aware of this until only a few years ago when one of them contacted us. He is now the Australian ambassador to Mexico. My parents had taken this secret all the way to their graves and never mentioned it.
What is your classroom motto ?
“Use what you know, not what you don’t know”
