EAP (English for Academic Purposes)

Teachers at INUS were professional. They used a lot of methods to motivate students to practice English. The location is near the tram and train station and easy to find. The classrooms are really comfortable.  

The school has a strict rule that students must speak English on the campus. I think conversation is important to improve speaking skills. Even when we were not in speaking class we did group learning, which gave me a lot of opportunities to practice conversation in every class, I always had a great time in my classes. I made a lot of friends from different countries. We spoke English together, even outside the school. I had a really enjoyable time with them.  

My name is Asli and I am from Turkey. When I came to Melbourne, I was too nervous about my IELTS exam but after my 10-week course at INUS Australia, I became more confident about both my exam and also my ability in English. Finally I got 7.0 in IELTS which is a great result for me. INUS Australia really helped me reach my goal. Not only did my English improve and I got the IELTS score I needed, but also Stuart, IELTS teacher at the school, helped me to find the best way to enjoy the meaning of learning while I learnt my second language. I am going to come back Turkey to follow with my studies at the University and I am quite sure that I will back to Melbourne once I have finished them. I am really happy to attend INUS Australia and I recommend to everyone to improve English with them.  

Hello, everyone! I want to tell you about my unforgettable trip to Australia. I had been studying General English at INUS Australia and even though I was really afraid on whether I would get my Visa or not, thank God I received my Visa very quick. It was processed in 14 days. I had been studying with about 10 students from other countries: Korea, Venezuela, a lot of students from Brazil, and others. I liked my class and our teacher, Sarah. We discussed a lot of things and I can say with confidence that I increased my language skills and my knowledge about different things. The school has a really great location. It was very comfortable. I lived at the residence which had all facilities: laundry, gym, food bar, kitchen, etc. The school provided me all the material I needed by an official book and also, my teacher, provided me with materials on every lesson. Each lesson has its own subject. Certainly, I made a lot of new friends and visited the main attractions of Melbourne. It is a beautiful place.  Thank you everyone who contributed to my trip!

I have been studying at INUS for 6 months and I felt how my English level was getting better week by week, mainly since I started to attend the English life class. It is amazing how you can improve your pronunciation and vocabulary in a few hours per week. These intensive classes help a lot and, the best part is that they are totally free! Teacher in these classes also help you to do your resume and special vocabulary for job interviews. That is so cool and helpful.  

In general, the experience was totally awesome. The only flaw was that I stayed just for ten weeks. The thing I liked the most was the classes and the way of teaching. In INUS, you are not just taught, but you learn by interaction. Human resources, they are best. Teachers were friendly, open to any suggestion and eagerly devoted to what they are expected to do. They arrange funny games which make the experience not only fruitful, but enjoyable. Location was an important point as well. Just in the CBD. There are public transport stops just in the same street and the central train station roughly 300 meters far from the school. Facilities are simple but well-equipped school. Whatever you need for getting the most of your experience is provided. All the staffs are very nice people too, as teachers are. I could not take the opportunity to do many activities due to the fact that I was there just for ten weeks and because it wasn't the best season to coordinate with other students.  I was very lucky with what I found and I am kin for having the opportunity to come back to Melbourne. Thanks to everyone in INUS, I will never forget how kind they were to me.  

I loved the course and our teacher is the best! At INUS I found a great quality of teaching but on top of that, an on-by-one consulting support. They follow my progress up closely and they also advised me about further studies. The social environment is also great and everybody in the School is always really friendly and kind, willing to help you all the time. I just loved it. It was really beyond my expectations. The course is really good and I feel like I`ve learned a lot. My teacher, Dean, is the best English teacher I`ve ever had. He is so cool and he is always willing to help. The social environment is also incredible!  

I really appreciated the EAP course that I prepared at INUS Australia. My classmates, the teachers and all the members of the staff, were amazing and I learnt a lot. I highly recommended this school if you want to improve your English and want to achieve your aspirations and aims. I successfully passed my IELTS test with a 7.0 overall score, what makes me feel really proud of myself. However, I completed my EAP course in order to improve my academic English for further studies. I want to thank you my teacher, Ruth, who helped me to improve my English level with the friendliest while professional way of teaching. In my case I went on to study a postgraduate certificate in Finance and Management and my level of English was high enough to follow the lectures well. I then did an Advanced Corporate Finance program and I am now applying for jobs in my field in Australia.  

It was a great experience. The classes were according to the level of each student, the teachers always showed an interest in the learning progress of their students. The location is amazing because the college is located in the heart of the city and close of all the public transport options.  

I really enjoyed this school and everything about it. The teachers were amazing. They helped me to improve my English a lot. The school was not as big as the others, but for me it was perfect because it was really easy to make friends and you could really speak English every time. The location was really good. They think for the students, and I enjoyed the activities outside the school. If I had any questions, they helped me to enjoy the experience. I had made really good friends from all over the world. My host family was the best; they made me feel like part of the family. This was the best experience of my life, and I will suggest this experience to anyone because it changed my life.  

I had eight incredible weeks. My experience at INUS Australia was amazing. The classes and teachers are excellent, as well as the location of school. I was able to improve my grammar, but the time was not enough. I will come back again if I have the opportunity.

I like to be with Lucy, she is a very good teacher and she looks after us. She explains simply how to do things, for example looking for words in the English dictionary. Lucy is a very nice teacher, she wants that all students in class understand and learn more English vocabularies. We speak a lot about a wide variety of subjects. It's more interesting. We made a fantastic practical exercises in our English class. I'm surprised because in the class I met friendly people and we spoke together. Each week was an interactive week. Lucy, Ruth, and Mark are lovely teachers. I like Ruth because her lessons are interesting. We speak about several subjects and we do homework. In the morning, we have a vocabulary game and each student explains an English word with their own words. You must decide how you can explain this word using the vocabulary that you know. To be here is being such a great life experience.
